How to serve the sauce, is one of the many How To´s that I am sure you will find very usefull.

When selecting a sauce, consider the shape and size of the pasta or noodle, since some

sauces are best suited for specific types of pasta.

Select the type of sauce to prepare and remember that there are an extent variety of Classic Sauces and Non-traditional pasta sauces and mixtures of ingredients that create an unlimited amount of savory toppings

Then consider not to over-sauce the pasta, It only needs to be coated with enough sauce to allow the pasta to benefit from its flavor.

HOW TO...

And know that there are different ways you must learn about How to serve the sauce and the pasta, and they are:

  • Heat Pasta and Sauce together
  • Toss Pasta and Sauce in a Warm Bowl
  • Serve Pasta and Sauce in Separate Warm Bowls
In all cases it is recommended after cooking the pasta to Drain it and gently shake the colander, leaving a little of the cooking water clinging to the pasta, since the light coat of cooking water will allow the sauce to blend and spread throughout the pasta more evenly.

Heat Pasta and Sauce Together:

This is the best method for infusing the flavour of the sauce into the pasta. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, put it back into the pan it was cooked in while the pot is still warm and then add the sauce to it or add the pasta to the pot containing the warm sauce. Limit the amount of time the pasta is returned to the heat source to 1 minute or less, otherwise it may become over-cooked. Once the pasta has been sauced, serve immediately in warmed serving bowls or on warmed serving plates.

Toss Pasta and Sauce in a Warm Bowl:

After draining the pasta, serve it on a plate or bowl, add the sauce and toss them together until evenly coated

Serve Pasta and Sauce in Separate Warm Bowls:

After draining the plain pasta, serve it in a warmed serving bowl, with the sauce added to another warmed serving bowl and then serve them separately. Consider leaving some of the cooking water on the pasta will help keep the pasta from sticking together.
