This is a very easy meat sauce made with available ingredients and appropriate with any sbape pasta. You can prepare it with your favoriteground meat and adjust the texture by using more or less of the diced tomato and tomato paste.

Ingredients.
1 pound any pasta shape
3/4 pound ground beef or turkey
2 tablespoons olive oil
l large onion, chopped
1 dried chili pepper (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups diced tomatoes, canned or fresh, drained
2 tablespoons tomato paste
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat, add the onion, and cook,
stirring often, until browned, about 2 minutes.
Add the chili pepper if desired, the garlic, and the meat and continue cooking until the meat loses its raw look.
Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and pepper, bring to a boil, and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
Adjust the salt and pepper and stir in the parsley. Remove the chili pepper.
About 15 minutes before serving the sauce, add the pasta to a large pan of rapidly boiling salted water and cook until “al dente”.
Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce in a serving bowl.
