English Tomato Sauce

Directions

  • Heat oil in pan, add onion and garlic, cook, starring, until onion is soft.
  • Add undrained crushed tomatoes, paste, sauce, sugar and basal Bring to boil, simmer, uncovered, for about 20 minutes or until sauce Is thickened, staring occasionally
  • This reclpe can be made 2 days ahead. Storage Covered, in refrigerator.



    Cheese Sauce

    Directions

  • Melt the butter in a medium pan, add the flour and stir over low heat for 1 minute or until the mixture is slightly golden and smooth.
  • Remove from the heat and gradually stir in the milk. Return to the heat and stir constantly over medium heat for 4 minutes or until the sauce boils and thickens.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese.
  • This recipe must be made few hours before making the recipe of your election.
